What is the Calm & Cozy Cat Wrap?

The Calm & Cozy Cat Wrap is a 100% polyester fleece wrap that contains multiple openings secured by velcro or zippers to allow access to very specific locations on the cat. The wrap keeps your cat (or your patient) nice and snuggled so they can’t wiggle around during necessary procedures.

Kind of like a “baby swaddle for cats.”

 

What is the Calm & Cozy Cat Wrap used for?

The wrap has so many uses!

For veterinary professionals, some of the uses include blood and urine sampling, blood pressure measurement, physical exams, medication administration (including subcutaneous fluids) and other injections.

For cat owners, the wrap is great for nail trims, administering medications and even subcutaneous fluids.

 

 

 

What size should I get?

If you’re a veterinary professional, seriously, get one or more of each size. That’s what I’ve done. If you are a cat owner, follow this guideline to help you decide:

Kitten: 2-7#

Small: 3-7#

Medium: 7-16#

Large: 18-30#

How do I use the Calm & Cozy Cat Wrap?

Follow these instructions for using the wrap. In summary, you just lay out the wrap, secure the neck first, then give them a snug swaddle. Boom. Done.

Always be safe with the Calm & Cozy Cat Wrap!

• Do not leave a wrapped cat unattended or she might roll off the table like a little sausage.
• If kitty is not on the floor, keep a hand on her to stabilize and help calm her.
• This is for short term use, i.e. 15 minutes max.

How do I care for the Calm & Cozy Cat Wrap?

• Easy to clean, it’s machine washable separately or in a mesh bag. Don’t go washing it with the dirtiest of dirty laundry, OK? In our clinic we wash the wrap after touching ANY patient. For home use, you could just wash it “as needed.”
• Close the velcro before washing.
• Dry on medium heat.
