Sleepypod has done it again! Some of you may know my affection for the Sleepypod brand, as they make one of my favorite cat carriers. They’ve now added the beautiful and functional Martingale Cat Harness to their repertoire of pet products.
The Sleepypod Martingale Cat Harness is made of a soft and breathable mesh. The term “martingale” comes from the gentle cinching method that prevents your cat from escaping the harness.
It’s soft and lightweight yet structured. Totally adjustable for cats of varying sizes.
Sleepypod always exceeds expectations with its color choices. They sent me one in Cranberry Red to try, so of course Panther was my gorgeous model.
Other colors include Pink Peony, Jet Black, Glacier Silver and Midnight Blue. Let’s see… pink on a gray cat, silver on a black cat, blue on an orange cat and black on…any cat!
The Sleepypod Martingale Cat Harness comes in three sizes. According to the website, to find your cat’s size, “measure around the cat’s lower neck and around the ribs just behind the legs. Allow for a one-finger distance between the body and the harness.”
Remember, if your cat is not used to a harness, TAKE YOUR TIME training them to use it. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, when it comes to training cats. Here’s Panther simply laying on the harness in the beginning!
